Hi, I’m Eliot R. Weinstein. I recently completed my Master of Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Data Science in the Department of Public Health Sciences at the University of Chicago. I currently work as an Instructional Assistant for the Department of Public Health Sciences as well as for the Summer Institute in Advanced Research Methods for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Education Research (SIARM for STEM) hosted by the University of Chicago Division of the Social Sciences.

I previously received a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago. I was also a student in the Masters in Computational Social Science program from 2021 to 2023, and in the GSAL program at the Graham School from 2019 to 2021, both also at the University of Chicago.

I am one of the co-creators of the bestselling game Cards Against Humanity, and I have worked in a management role for Cards Against Humanity LLC from its founding through 2017, and from 2020-present. I have mentored first-time entrepreneurs from non-traditional backgrounds who work in fields as varied as engineering, STEM education, political organizing, and music.

I’m also the Vice-President of The Storytelling Trust, a nonprofit organization that tells the stories of people historically excluded from mainstream public records using oral history, ethnography, and documentary.

As a lifelong Chicagoan, I can’t help but rep our dysfunctional but enjoyable sports teams, even when I’m visiting somewhere exciting like the French Quarter of New Orleans (pictured).
